VFX REEL
VFX supervision of projects such as the Camera One/Le Studio Canal + feature film «Burnt by the Sun» by Nikita Mikhalkov where we supervised the fireball digital effect on set. The film won an Academy Award in 1995 in the Best Foreign Language Film category. In 2003-2004 he supervised the visual effects for the first Russian blockbuster feature films «Night Watch»/«Day Watch» by Timur Bekmambetov, distributed worldwide by Fox Searchlight. From 2004 to 2008, we also supervised visual effects for «Wolfhound» byNikolay Lebedev, «Shadow Boxing» by Aleksei Sidorov, «Paragraph 78» by Mikhail Khleborodov, «Dead Daughters» by Pavel Ruminov, «Captivity» by Roland Joffe, «The Interceptor» by Konstantin Maksimov «Generation Pi» by Victor Ginzburg etc.
In 2008 we supervise a Project of visual effects for Hollywood, entitled «Mr.Magorium’s Wonder Emporium» by Zach Helm, Walden Media, «Law Abiding Citizen» by F. Gary Gray and the antiwar pacifist movie «5 Days of War» by the acclaimed Hollywood film director Renny Harlin. More recently, in 2011, the Man-o-War sequence in «Conan the Barbarian», Millennium Films.
